Pour aujourd'hui, deux petits délices...

1. Entendu en classe de "East Asian Politics"
Prof: "India has had an extraordinary influence on the region, that's why the ocean there is called the Indian Ocean. Since we Americans have also a lot of influence on the world, the Gulf of Mexico should probably called the Gulf of America!" (dit sur le ton de la rigolade)
Étudiant (blagant sérieusement): "We don't need an ocean, we have the world!"
*La classe éclate de rire, sauf le contigent québécois*

2. Dans notre manuel pour le cours de "American Government"
"All major world religions reject same-sex marriage, and the legalization of same sex marriages will lead to an attack against religious institutions and values." OK pour la première partie de la phrase, mais je pense qu'il manque un tantinet de nuance dans la deuxième partie. Juste un tantinet....
